How AI enhances research

At TESI, we are consolidating artificial intelligence within our platforms and services for the various phases of research projects with a clear purpose: to meet the demanding current needs of our clients.

One of the areas where AI is adding the most value is in questionnaire programming, where we are automatically generating questions, avoiding static surveys, and enabling the clarification of ambiguities, delving into the ‘why’, identifying motivations, exploring emotions, and uncovering hidden nuances.

Furthermore, thanks to AI, we are optimizing the processing of open-ended questions, automatically generating codebooks, but with the final decision resting with the human coder.

It also offers the possibility of having multiple coders working on the same project. All this is possible by combining different open-source, commercial, or private AI models trained for each specific need.

Audio transcription with AI is another key area we are addressing, which will soon be available on the Gandia Integra platform. Supporting multiple input formats and with no file size limits, it is suitable for both Quantitative and Qualitative studies. It allows for the transcription of audio in major languages, including their accents and dialects, the detection of channels and speakers based on the audio format, and the option to select the entire audio or a specific list of survey questions for studies conducted with TESI software.

By utilizing AI for the transcription of interviews and meetings, we generate various analyses. Key highlights include summaries, organization by chapters, qualitative and sentiment analysis with example quote extraction for each case, plus an integrated chat to interact with the transcription and analyze the results.

Additionally, our extensive experience and professionalism have enabled the integration with other AI systems. This allows us to incorporate into our survey system: neuroscience technologies like eye-tracking, voicebots, chatbots, and social media platforms like WhatsApp.
