The SHERLOCK Project aims to drive innovation in data-driven learning and survey methods, and to enhance digital skills in AI within the higher education sector.
We have recently begun a new collaboration with the academic and market research fields. Specifically, we are working on the Sherlock Project, an initiative led by CEU Cardenal Herrera University in partnership with universities across the European Union to redefine survey methodology instruction in Europe.
The SHERLOCK project is aimed at university students, teachers, and young professionals, offering an innovative approach based on gamified digital learning and international and interdisciplinary collaboration. It also promotes data literacy, AI-supported learning, and informed decision-making, aligning with European priorities and strengthening the link between academic theory and professional practice.
In this initial phase of the project, in which TESI is participating, teachers are conducting in-depth interviews with industry experts to incorporate practical insights and real-world experience into the project design.
And in this context, Gabriel Ravello, adjunct professor in the Department of Economics and Business at CEU Cardenal Herrera University’s Elche campus, visited us a few days ago for an in-depth interview with our team.
The “Game” project is conceived, in this first stage, as a tool for market research professors at participating universities, with the aim of enriching the student learning process. However, its potential future development is being evaluated, including the option of integrating it with external data sources, artificial intelligence, or specialized analysis and research software.
We would like to thank Gabriel and his entire team for their confidence in including us in this project. We gladly accepted this proposal, as it aligns perfectly with our understanding of the sector: sharing knowledge, connecting the academic world with the professional world, and contributing to the training of future researchers.
